I started at the ice house canyon trail head around 10am. It was a good hike with less hikers than expected. The first 3.8 miles towards the saddle were nice with minor winds, but I encountered heavy winds and icy / snow patches towards the last 2.8 miles and lots of cold.This time a year I recommend warm gear and chains on footwear for this particular peak. Overall enjoyable!!
