Note to self: When there is a heat wave, stay home!
Started early to beat the heat but it still caught up to us. It was very, very hot! Bugs were out too so that added to the struggle. Trail is mostly exposed as you get closer to peak.
This was not my first time here but for some reason it felt longer than expected.
On the way back, we cooled down by dipping our heads in the cold stream at Ice House Canyon. That felt so good!
