Left IHC around 5:30am and arrived at Ontario Peak a couple hours later. Typical beautiful views of IE and surrounding area. Fully intended to spend the night at the peak, but thundershowers were in the forecast for later than evening. Not wanting to be the “highest” object in the area, I opted to descend and camp at Kelly Camp.

Had a friendly mama deer and her baby spend a couple hours hanging out with me, eating and not particularly fearful of humans. Weather was perfect, slight breeze and cloud cover. A little rain during the night, but nothing major.
