Took the tram from Palm Springs in the afternoon and backpacked into Round Valley. We've camp in Round Valley a few times and this was the first time I've seen water at faucet (a steady trickle on 6/9). We hiked to the peak the following morning and the trail was quiet and mostly empty until the 8am tram people made it up.

One of my favorite ways to experience Mount San Jacinto! I’ve taken many people up to Round Valley for their first time backpacking trip.
