For my 6th peak I enjoyed a beautiful hike up to Ontario and Bighorn peaks.  Started around 515 am and took the icehouse canyon trail up to the saddle where we took a quick snack break then proceeded up the trail. About half mile past Kelly Camp we encountered a snake basking in the morning sun.  It was a bit unexpected but have heard others had seen a snake in that area???? we made our way up the trail, which I felt was a pretty easy ascent. The view from the top was incredible! Above the clouds again which is always beautiful! We then made our way over to Bighorn Peak which was pretty underwhelming but glad we did it.  Very sad not to see any wild life besides a squirrel and the snake. Was really hoping to see some Bighorn Sheep. Hopefully next time!  Felt great to complete the 6 pack of peaks challenge. ✅????????????????
