Set out today with my niece and her friend. Started raining 45 minutes into the hike. Made the trail extremely slippery. As we gained elevation turned into sleet. We persevered and once we summited the sun came out and dried the trail out making for a much better experience on the way down. Had the mountain to ourselves that was really great. Gloves are a must. Enjoyed even though not idea conditions.

Glad the sun came out for you and you made it down safely. That’s one trail I would *not* want to be on in wet conditions!
That trail looks a little sketchy ????. Good job on summiting! Glad to hear the sun came out for the hike down.
