Strawberry is such a great confidence booster! Especially for someone not doing the usual amount of hiking this year. It was a beautiful day. We got started early to beat the heat and were happy to see the trail wasn't too crowded, just a sprinkling of people throughout the day. The lack of shade didn't even bother me (I always worry about that on Strawberry). Another great day in the San Gabriels! Thanks Strawberry Peak. I always appreciate this peak's accessibility and it's just long and challenging enough to feel like a real hike afterwards.
