Upper 40s at the start. At the top, it was windy, foggy, and wet. I could not see the views from the top but luckily in the past I had driven up Mt. Umunhum before when it was clear. On the way day I made a trip to Bald Mountain where I saw a rainbow – sorry but no pot of gold! Luckily it was lightly raining for the last few miles and the trail blocked most of the wind. I made it to my car when the rain started pouring.

Wow! Sounds like an exhilarating and worthwhile trek! Fast too! Just reading about it almost has me winded 🙂 Running in the rain is such a fun and freeing experience, plus going home to a hot shower feels 100x better than normal! Great job 🙂
Thanks Emma. Running in the rain is nice when it’s light. But it was nicer feeling when I arrived at my car and the rain then started coming down harder.
