Although there are some fallen trees, the trail was well maintained and easy to follow. It was a perfect day to hike San B before summer started. It was cool enough throughout and so peaceful on the trail and at the summit. There are ashes for about the first 4 miles. The burnt areas looked eerie. Only a few other solo hikers. There is a gradual incline but a long hike.
