Hot start and finish at the base, but camp was cool and shaded!  Deer Springs Trail is long but gradual, ascending 5,570ft over 9.31 miles.  Dropping camp and summiting for sunset with just a bladder and a snack was AMAZING.  All in all a beautiful weekend with a wonderful crew.
