Conquered “Santiago Peak” (aka “Saddleback Mountain”) with kitty and friends on 1/15/18. Santiago Peak is the highest point in the Orange County at 5,690 ft. After summiting Iron Mountain beforehand, this one seemed pretty easy by comparison, lol. I recommend to hike this mountain in the winter as there is no snow at that time, plus I've heard bugs can be a bit too much in the summer on Holy Jim trail. The summit reminded me of Mt. Wilson with its many microwave and telecommunication antennas. (#hike6of52). #52HikeChallenge #SantiagoPeak

@jeff – not sure why there are so many duplicate pictures posted. Could you please remove all the duplicates or tell me if there is a way to remove them by myself? Thank you!
We cleaned up the duplicate images. It’s an issue we’re trying to track down.
Great photos and trip report, @denis! And actually there CAN be snow at the top in the winter — it’s just rare.
