Hiking Strawberry Peak is always enjoyable. I wasn't sure how crowded the trail would be on this particular hike because it certainly seems like Strawberry Peak has grown in popularity exponentially over the years, but we got out on the trail early and only saw about 12 other people the whole time we were out. Got on the trailhead as the sun was coming over the horizon. We were trying to beat the heat since this hike was in August and this trail has virtually no shade. It was very enjoyable. No complaints. The colors of the plants and the sky were absolutely incredible. Another enjoyable scramble.
