I have hiked the other trails to Mt Woodson but never the fire road. Beautiful views with the climb with the clouds settled in the valley. This time one in the group found the USGS marker on a huge boulder. The views from the boulder were incredible and we sat for a little while to take it all in. For me, this was the easiest way up Mt. Woodson.
