Intended just to do the Bear Canyon Loop, but felt a bit saucy and decided to try for the peak! Thanks to whomever made the peak sign, it was lovely to take pictures with. Most of the trail is in good condition, with some overgrown and eroded areas. Started early, around 7:20 and hiked in the mist and fog to the peak. The views from the top were obscured, but I had the peak and the trail all the way up to myself. Only saw 4 other hikers on the descent. The fog started burning off on the way down. No bugs on the way up, I think the mist kept them at bay. Bugs weren’t too bad on the way down.
