This was my 6th/last hike of the challenge – due to the social distancing requirements there were very few other hikers on the trail, I was close to the top before I saw anyone else.  I started the hike at 7:35 am, the skies were clear, the temperature was 58 degrees – very nice for hiking.  Some of the wildflowers were dying out but so many of the cactus were blooming.  The trail well-maintained trail made for a beautiful hike. I met some locals at the top who told me to watch for the petroglyphs in the wash – that was a nice treat!  I encountered a rattlesnake spanning the trail on the way down, it wasn’t to interested in moving off the trail so I waited a few minutes then went way around:).  There were some bees in the wash near the petroglyphs and some kind of bugs flying around at the top – no issue though.
