Day hike

Trail in good condition

ROAD:

Road suitable for all vehicles

No bugs

Snow:

Intermittent snow – not hard to cross

It was a beautiful hike, great views the entire way. While it took longer then sizer to complete (total time of 8hr, 5 min including a wrong turn), I would say that Sizer was harder. This had a great deal of incline, but I found it was mostly gradual. While Sizer had a really steep incline to the summit, and then another really steep incline at the end that felt like it went on forever. It was a little frosty at the top, but that just added to the beauty of the hike. It was a great way to finish up the challenge, it has been a pleasure to check these hikes off the list.

  1. Congratulations, @meangela010! I’d love to hike Rose Peak with a dusting of snow on it. You’re lucky!

We are trying to nail down a date for the Finishers Party in early January. Hope to see you there!

    1. Thanks Jeff, I felt lucky that day 🙂 I feel lucky every time I get to go on a hike. I’ll keep an eye out for the date and hope I can make it.
