Woke up to a chilly 28 degrees at 5 am. Got some breakfast then started our hike. We dressed a bit warmer than needed. The weather cooperated offering occasional breezes and plenty of sunshine. It took nearly 4 hours to reach the summit. I hiked this 20 years ago so it was fun to see if it was how I remembered it. There were lots of people and vertical rise. I remember it being a challenge and it definitely was. Wildflowers were in bloom, the bugs were minimal to none and the views at the top were amazing. Coming down was slow going.  Quite a long day but definitely glad the weather was nearly perfect.

    1. So much snow gone since I did this 20 years ago! Crazy how different the trail is now. Still hard but not as I remembered it.
