Girls Who Hike LA celebratory hike for Galentine's Day with strawberries and champers. An almost perfect day, until Mr Yucca decided to stab my pinky and I actually needed surgery to get it out! But that's a story for another day. This hike was a redemption for me – the first time I tried to do Strawberry Peak, a year prior, it was so scary to me, and I genuinely couldn't finish. A year's worth of hiking experience made all the difference, and I loved it. I didn't see any false summits at all – they were all welcome plateaus where I could catch my breath, soak in the views and make a sweet dance video – see here!
