The TH parking lot had construction cones & signs but didn't say it if it's good for us/hikers to park on weekends. So, we decided to park along the side road going up to Baldy…for peace of mind. Less water running in the creek as expected as it has been far too warm-hot in the past weeks or so. It was still a pleasant day to hike with intermittent breeze. A friend/former Elementary classmate finally made it to hike with us; hopefully many more hikes with him, Giovanni. A cold, fresh squeezed sugar cane juice sold by locals just outside the TH was a delightful surprise.
