Trailhead was not marked but easy to find just after mile marker 15 on road 207.

trail was muddy and a little slippery but dried out for the way down. Lovely views of the cascades on the way up- Jefferson, Hood and Adams. No hedgehog cactus blooming yet but some other purple and white flowers all along the path.

  1. I hiked Sutton back when it was frozen on the way up, and muddy on the way down. Looking forward to returning to see the wildflowers.
