It was a dry, dusty and blazing hot hike. The Peak wasn't very pretty… cell towers and vehicles greeted us at the top. Limited amount of shade and the shade we did find was swarming with flies. Bring a bug net to save yourself from having to swat at them the entire time. Bring extra water too. I drank more than usual on this hike and still ran out.
