Beautiful blue bird day. No winds with Spring like conditions. I could not ask for a better day to hike this trail. Lots of switchbacks and feeling winded at the end but worth it!

Looks beautiful, @snowchik! Tell us more about the “trail magic” part!
Trail Magic is food, snacks, ice cold soda, water, beer that “Trail Angels” give the “PCT” Pacific Crest Trail hikers that are hiking the trail from Mexico border to Canada. At the point where I was “Vincent Gap” trail head is approx. 370 miles in about 3 and a half to 4 weeks into the trail. I really enjoy talking and learning about the hike that one day I will do! As well as the JMT in the next couple years….
Oh I know what trail magic is… I started an annual #MuirTaco trip in the Sierra Nevada where we bring all the fixings to make fresh tacos and yes, beer, for PCT and JMT thru-hikers deep in the backcountry. I was more curious what you did, and where you set it up. 😉
That sounds awesome. I set up at Vincent Gap trail head at the picnic table handed out breakfast burritos then I left to hike up Baden Powell. After we finished hike we set up strawberries, bananas, snacks, cookies, cold sodas and beer for the next few hours. Then I headed back home picked up some hikers heading to Wrightwood. It is the most rewarding experience!
