I actually loved Baldy! When you first start the trail starts going straight up! There is nothing gradual about this trail.  IT IS HARD AND IT IS LONG.  I hiked this trail with ALMA (My ride or die sister), Gia, Marlene, & liv. I am always the slowest one going up. We stopped at the famous green hut for a snack. They have a restroom there and a water source.  We took some photos and off we went.  It was tolerable until we hit the Baldy Notch. From there up is HARD! I mean straight up if you fall you might die.  It was a tricky climb to the top.  I can't imagine people who hike this without trekking poles! When we got to the top it was soooooo beautiful!! The weather was perfect!  Cool wind blowing in our hair, Butterflies flying around! There were quite a lot of people at the top! Coming down was challenging for some of us. It was a mental exercise and very exhausting! Devils backbone was beautiful. When we got to the Ski lifts we separated. We had two girls in our group that were afraid of heights so they finished hiking the trail and Gia,Marlene, and I took like wonderful lifts back town to the parking lot. Although it didn't drop you off at the parking lot we parked at, we hitchhiked to the second parking lot by a really nice fellow hiker!! Our feet were done. But I didn't hate this one! We had some cool memories here!
