Had an aggressive plan to knock out 6 peaks in 4 days, wishful thinking it appears. Didn't get going early enough to tackle Bachelor, so we hit Tumalo. Solid trail, brisk weather. Tackled the summit then set off to find a campsite for the evening. Views from the top were good, not excellent. A few of the local peaks were cloud capped, while most of the eastern horizon was clear. All in all, a great hike to kick off our trip.
