Got to an early start this year with the intention of completing all twelve peaks in 2021.
Arrived at Maple Springs Vistor centre parking at 630 am and started up the pathed road for 3 miles till it became dirt the rest of the way.
Easy gradient all the way up and although there are some forks in the road it is pretty clear which direction you need to be travelling.
Some icey and sludgy sections on the dark side of the mountain but nothing serious.
I was the only hiker coming up that trail, although I saw others at the top obviously coming from other sides to me.
First one done!
