Early morning. Cool and overcast, but great for hiking! Nice dessert botanical feeling. Early enough to spot a buck and a few does with a fawn. Trek was great but at every turn felt like we were close to path to the top to be teased. Next switchback and then almost, then again switchbacks to the top. Finally straight shot to the peak. Grand view of Tucson, And Picacho to the North. Took the loop trail around the backside of mountain. Nice trail but overshot our pick up point. Ended up grateful for wonderful day and long trail.
