Winter is the best time of the year to bag Mt Wilson. The colder temps makes it easier to tackle the relentless uphill of Sierra Madre. No bugs. Free of snow and the overcast hides Mr Sun from beaming. There are some fallen trees to watched out for but still passable.

oh and did you know that Wilson is also a name for a mule? Pretty cool!
