Your not at the peak until you stand on the peak

This hike is intense, make sure you look up both the driving directions and the trail directions. This one is a bit different than all the other hikes in the central oregon challenge. The trails on the beginning of the hike are well maintained. Once you start going up the actual peak the trail becomes vague but its still pretty obvious. We passed the trail intersection that goes up the peak and went by about 2 miles, so did another hiker we talked to that day. There is no indication the trail goes up until you know, so pay attention. The views on this hike are amazing. It was an appropriate end to our 6 peak challenge
