Hello Fellow Mountain Slayers,

I just signed up for my very first peak challenge for Las Vegas. I became obsessed with hiking during the pandemic like most, and with the four walls closing in on me while working from home, I truly found my happy place in nature. Being in nature and being inspired from its beauty in its truest form; it's something you don't get being in the city. My very first trail was Mary Jane Falls. Little did I know, I knew absolutely nothing about proper footwear and preparation. After spinal surgery in late 2021, it humbled me to appreciate the big and small things in life. We are never guaureeted tomorrow, so why not enjoy the journey whatever that might be and just breathe. Happy Hiking!
