It is sunset Sunday which means a sunset hike out to quartz peak. We started from the main Trailhead about 3:30 hoping to get to
Trail conditions were great. Traffic was moderate. Weather was chilly at start but warm up quick once moving. Climb uphill was filled with stair steps
Gorgeous morning, the trail was crowded, but still easy to navigate. Very clear day with great views.
Easy, clear cool weather, lots of people, well groomed, slightly jagged rock.
