picacho peak

Fantastic hike. Glad I started early (7 am) so I could finish before peak heat. Took about 1 hr each direction.

Needed gloves and one hiking stick for descent  

As always, this hike is a CHALLENGE! We started at 8. The temperatures were fine, not very warm, but the shady portions of the trail

Last summit to finish the challenge! Perfect weather this morning. Plenty of climbing. Best to bring gloves for the cables. Beautiful views!

We started at 8am.  Not that many hikers at that time but became very busy on our way down.

This was probably my least favorite hike of the six peaks. A roller coaster of emotions describes the section after the saddle perfectly. The views
