Skipped out of work an hour early and headed to the trailhead.  Loved the climb.  Not overly crowded and other hikers were courteous & friendly

Holy vertical elevation!  While this one had switchbacks, everything was pretty much straight up!  Pretty intense climb for te first half and then the excitement

Nice weather for an afternoon hike, just a bit warm in the sun. Usual parking area closed for construction, so I took the freedom trail
