Wow. Was not expecting that kind of hardcore scrambling. Not too difficult, but it was a little sketch at times. Super fun and great views!
Peak is in central Phoenix. A lot of first time hikers and weekend warriors. Weather was perfect with sunny skies and in high 60s. Steep
We started the hike at 6am when it was still dark and cool. The trail was not too crowded especially for a Saturday morning. There
Seniors should really think twice about tackling this mountain. Very precarious.
I've done this hike before but forgot how hard it was. However, at 71 I think I did OK.
