Wasson Peak

This hike was one of my favorites! We headed out on the trail fairly early and did the hike counterclockwise as was suggested by other

We started this hike in the morning around 830am, parking lot was not crowded when we started. We set off counterclockwise from the King Canyon

Started early and finished with a walk thru the wash to see the Petroglyphs.

Rough and rocky terrain. Beautiful scenery and challenging trail in terms of length. Great way to finish the six pack of peaks…exhausted but exhilarating finale!

Wasson was our 6th hike for the challenge! So we were eager to complete it! It’s a steady hike through a marked trail but watch

Followed advice of others and went counterclockwise and we were glad we did.  It is a steady, constant walk up, mostly gradual and very beautiful
