It was a beautiful day for the hike – sun with a few clouds. The trail doesn't have much shade so it's great to do
beautiful day, cloudy with blue skies poking through. Amazing views. Small amount of snow on trail near the top.
We hiked the historic Black Butte trail. From the bottom of the butte. 10.5 miles with 3400 ft gains…Two days later did the shorter route.
