Today's hike up Black Butte was awesome! I took the lower trailhead at about 7:15 am. The parking lot already had 5 cars in it
Entrance to parking area was mostly dried mud with very large ruts. Recommend high clearance/AWD. Weather was perfect. Sunny and mild temps in the 60s.
It was a beautiful day for this hike. Sunny with a cool breeze. There were wildflowers blooming sporadically along the trail. The trail was uneven
Started at 830am, nice cool weather. Hit the sun on the south side and enjoyed nice weather on ascent. Blue bird day with great views
It was a hundred mile drive with the sunrise in my eyes, not complaining. Entrance is super muddy and some parts further into the hike.
Set off at 7am with Miranda and Henry the dog. Hiked up and ran down in about 4hrs. We chose to do the 10 mile
