So the trailhead is not where it used to be. It is now from the main entrance. And there's no parking along the cascade highway.
Bugs were terrible at the start but worth stopping to take pics! The red mile was tedious but glad we made it to the summit.

It felt like we had been exiled from our homes and forced to start over in this uninhabitable mountain forest! Just miles of burnt up
