Got to the trailhead at 9:45 am. Sunny and blue skies quickly turned to 30-40 mph winds and snow at the top. Found the yurt
It read 18 degrees on my car's thermometer at the trail head. The trail was snow over dirt, snow over ice, and then windblown snow.
Beautiful hike up the mountain. Used micro spike near the top. Few people. Cold sunny day.
Amazing clear weather and a fresh dusting of snow made for a beautiful hike!
