Black Crater

Gorgeous day. There were some lingering flowers and butterflies at the top.

Started early. Lots of fog, thick cloud cover.

The trip was about 5 hours up and back. It’s a pretty strait forward hike. There was a lot of smoke for the first three

Good hike, not to many other people.  There was a lot of butterflies all around.  Really clear day as you can see in my pictures.

This hike was absolutely GORGEOUS! I remember not loving it last year, but for whatever reason this year it was one of my favorites!

Sooooooo beautiful! The views are spectacular and there were hundreds of orange and black butterflies all around. Loved the wildflowers too!
