Mount Bachelor

Unfortunate late start around noon. High 80's. Pleasant on the top. Finished in the 90's.

We were hesitant to start the climb mid day with a forecast in the 90's for Bend, but an earlier start wasn't an option. The

Parked at the bottom of Sunrise lift. Trail was easy to find and navigable. Steep towards the peak!

So the trailhead is not where it used to be. It is now from the main entrance. And there's no parking along the cascade highway.

It was super disappointing to learn that the ski resort was charging a silly fee just to park in the big parking lot.  We ended

Got a quick summit in early to try and beat the heat. Just 2 snow patches-one easy to cross and the other you can go
