Finished up the six peak challange with Black Mountain. Started early and had the peak to ourselves. Trail was nice and the last 1/2 miles
Hike was great, could not have asked for better weather. Cool enough to not be sweating but warm enough for a t-shirt. Skies were clear
Trail is easy to follow and not very technical, the last bit required some scrambling but its one of the easier in the challenge.
Snow from trailhead to the peak with patches of clear trail. Snow on the trail is well packed but very slippery. Micro spikes and trekking
Easy trail to follow all the way to the peak stay on trail 404 and head on up. Â This was my sixth and final peak
