Beautiful day. Got started early, before it got too hot out. Lots of folks on the trail.

This hike was pretty tough but fun.  Very steep which makes going downhill very hard for me.  Started using trekking poles on this hike.  Love

Perfect morning for Turtlehead. Blue sky and a light breeze. The recent rains made for minimal dust on the trail.

Lots of loose rock the first 2/3 and lots of snow the last 1/3 made for uneven footing the entire hike and very tired legs
