Beautiful morning hike up/down Volcan Mountain. The trails weren’t crowded despite the ideal weather conditions (a bit of Santa Ana warming things up.) Went down

Trail was in fine condition. Weather was sunny and warm cut by a nice cool wind. ~50% was shaded by trees.
We started late in the day to avoid the heat, but realized a couple hours into it that we would be hiking back in the
Great hike. Started early, got a bit windy at top, but beautiful views both east and west.
Left early morning to beat the sun. Uphill from the start. Boulder field is amazing!
