Cuyamaca peak

We had a beautiful hike, perfect weather, a little cool when we started but we warmed right up. Beautiful views from the peak.

Beautiful hike if you take azalea glen trial. If you take the fire road up and down, it’ll be steep and not much to see,

Beautiful fall colors and some busy woodpeckers at the campground. Cool at the top. Stopped for some famous Julian pie on the drive out.

Made it to the top a lot faster than I anticipated so I took a detour through Burnt Pine Fire Road and appreciated the pine

Ended our challenge with Cuyamaca Peak! It was day before Halloween, lots of people dressed up.

So many trail options. You can make this 13 miles 7.7 or I think there is a 3 mile option but not sure where that
