Cuyamaca peak

Started early and only saw a few people out on the trail. Weather was perfect. Took the Azalea Loop Trail then got on the service

Sunrise hike to Cuyamaca, ascending fire road, descending beautiful Azalea Glen and hit Stonewall across the street too.

I used alltrails recommended “Cuyamaca Peak via Azalea Glen Loop” to summit Cuyamaca. The all trail recommendation was to go up via azalea glen loop

Opted for the shorter and steeper route to the peak. I was a little out of shape, but made it and helped to rebuild my

Great hike up to the summit.  A couple of down trees from the windstorm blocking the trail.  A little extra effort climbing over the trees
