Enjoyed our snowy hike! Definitely do the loop and go counterclockwise! Up and down the fire road seems super boring, but the loop was beautiful!

Should have known we would encounter snow. Â Fortunately, it was easy hiking and the slip and slide was minimal. Â Neither I nor my hiking buddy
Hike 2/2 for the day. Took fire road all the way to the top since the usual trail is covered in snow. Trail well marked.
Great COLD start at 0715…crunchy mud and snow to cross (@ least a 1/3rd of the route was under snow. Better to navigate by way
So much snow! Definitely glad to have had my snow poles. Decided to be a bit of a daredevil and climb up on a rock.
