Cuyamaca peak

It's a tough climb but nothing extreme. I did the loop starting up the fire lookout Rd to the summit came back down Conejos trail

I parked at the Paso Picacho campground and headed towards Azalea Glen Loop trail, a shady tree-lined path that led to a fire-ravaged clearing.  I

Well maintained but at times rocky trail.  We had the trail to ourselves.  Perfect weather and expansive views.

Perfect little hike. Weather was perfect and only passed 1 group as we descended.

Was in the high 60s at the campground, the peak was closer to high 50s and very windy. It's a fire road all the way

There are a few routes for this peak.  I did Azalea Glen Loop Trail to Conejos Trail and then took the fire road back down.
