A small window of good weather to finish the 6 peak challenge. This is a difficult hike, rutted trails, slippery sandy trails & a rock

Great day for a hike. Cool and cloudy all morning for the ascent. Unfortunately that made for poor photos on top. A bunch of tarantula

Went really early so we would be back before the storm.

Little rain kept things cool. Hail at the summit. Hit El Cajon then El Cap. Peak 6/6 done!!

5:45 start. Fog broke around 6:30. Cloudy the whole time. Started raining on the way down. Great hiking weather for July. Would have been more

Long day. In my opinion, it’s imperative to leave before dark… There were too many people heading towards the summit when sun was in full
