Writing thing now that I've completed the challenge, I'd definitely say that this was the hardest peak. Steep elevation gain both directions, plus a rock
El Cajon mountain definitely lived up to it’s punishing reputation, so it’s good to be mentally prepared for that. The views are stunning almost immediately
Just keep hiking. We did this last year for fun. All of the surprises were removed, but still one of the hardest hikes I've done.
