High Point

The first two miles were a tough climb on the lungs…then it smoothed out a bit. Beautiful hike. Patchy melting snow (not too much left).

Hike was beautiful. Great weather. Temps in the mid 70s. Little breezy towards the top which required me to add some layers back on.

It was overcast during the initial ascent and within 4.75 miles was a winter wonderland with snow cover on trail and within the hills.  We

Incredible time of year to hike Mt. Palomar. It was nice and cool. No, mud, snow or ice. We saw a few hiker and mountain
